hi angels!

im mads— the beauty & brains behind regular ceramics <3

i’ve loved clay since i was 10 years old. after that first touch, I chased every opportunity to do ceramics. because of the cost, those chances were rare growing up until i made it to the studio at my college in conway, arkansas. with unlimited studio access, i gained a deeper understanding of how much time, materials, and knowledge it takes to make a piece of pottery from start to finish. i loved the process so much that sneaking my non-ceramics friends into the studio became a frequent occurrence so they could try it, too.

now, im teaching ceramics to anyone interested. to limit hurtles, i offer a sliding payment scale + make sure ceramicists at my workshops have all the necessary tools and information they’re looking for— whether that’s the knowledge needed to make one specific shape or the expertise to make any shape, any time.

beyond teaching, i am open for commissions + sell my own work at markets around austin, tx.

if you’re interested in learning, collaborating, or adding a piece of my pottery to your home or workplace, feel free to reach out via email or instagram for more info <3

hope to see you soon <3

xoxo, mads
